Our Team

Ruan Mocke

A physiotherapist who graduated from the University of the Free State in 2008. He completed his Masters degree in 2018. He currently completing his Doctorate in Physiotherapy. He enjoys challenges from a wide variety of different physiotherapy domains that include chronic pain, pulmonary rehabilitation and various exercise therapies and is thus very active with the Namibian Paralympic Athletes. He is also passionate about continuous education and keeping up with new research findings.

Sarah Swart

Obtained her physiotherapy degree from the University of the Western Cape in 2014. After gaining some experience in the acute hospital setting in South Africa she joined our team in 2017. She enjoys the rehabilitation of patients after any major surgeries, using her Pilates background to assist in the holistic management of her patients. Besides work, Sarah enjoys time with family and friends, and likes to stay active

Erica Kühn

Erica graduated from UNAM in 2023. Her interests includes cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics, sport and paediatric physiotherapy. She enjoys learning and continually improving her clinical knowledge. In her free time, she enjoys staying active and reading.

Ermelinde Petrus

Ermelinde is BSc Honours Degree in Physiotherapy holder from the University of Namibia in 2021. She is passionate about acute pulmonary rehabilitation, manual therapy, managing critically ill patients, and working with paediatrics and geriatrics. She is committed to enhancing patient’s quality of life, through coaching and education. Her holistic approach is aimed at empowering individuals to regain optimal function and achieve their goals. She aspires to keep up her professional skill set through continuous research and training. In her leisure time, she enjoys listening to music, charity work, exploring nature and jogging.

Rauha Nuuyoma

Graduated from the University of Namibia in 2022 with a BSc Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. During her studies, she was awarded the best graduate and best overall clinical graduate for 2022. She is interested in cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics, sports and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Outside of work she likes to listen to music, go to the gym, and try out new things.

Marieke Kirchner

Obtained her Physiotherapy Degree at the University of Pretoria in 2009 and completed her Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT1) certification in 2010. She worked in private practices in Walvis Bay, Windhoek and Swakopmund, before founding this practice together with her husband, Ruan, in Swakopmund in 2013. While passionate about all things women’s health - pelvic issues, pregnancy and breastfeeding - she maintains the balance with regular rehabilitation. Marieke obtained her Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Stellenbosch in 2023. She is also training as a APPI Pilates instructor and teaches a weekly class.

Ansaaf Johannes

Graduated class medalist in Professional Ethics from the University of Cape Town in 1999 (BSc. Physiotherapy). Her professional journey in Namibia took off in Walvis Bay in 2001. Thereafter she inaugurated physiotherapy services in Rosh Pinah for 2 years before practicing solo in Keetmanshoop from 2012 for many years, providing services to entire South. Her special interests include women’s and men’s health, occupational health, MSK and orthopaedics. She has an insatiable thirst to grow, learn and share. She loves sketching, yoga and keeping her family motivated and grounded

Nicole Röttger

obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree in Germany and the Netherlands in 2013/2014. Before moving back to Namibia in 2016, she worked for 3 years in an orthopeadic rehabilitation clinic in Switzerland. Nicole’s therapy goals focus on functional disabilities, therefore she chose to do the manual therapy course according to McKenzie. While in Europe she also did various courses such as lymph drainage, muscle balance and scar treatment according to Boeger. During her personal time she enjoys being out and about in nature.

Nadine Strydom

Nadine graduated from the University of Namibia in 2023 with a BSc Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. She is passionate about neurology, sports and orthopaedicphysiotherapy. In her free time, she enjoys jogging and staying active.

We are looking for a dynamic physiotherapist that share our passion for helping patients! Our practice is well established and the full scope of Physiotherapy is treated. The position is well suited to a physiotherapist keen to take responsibility, looking to work in a collaborative team environment. Solid manual therapy and hospital skills are a must.

Work permits are required for non-Namibians, please apply well in advance. Post currently available.
